I hope you guys liked all of the tester photos yesterday! I’m back today with an inspiration board.
I’ve been pinning styles like this for awhile, and I truly love this board. It feels very *me*. I’m a mom to two baby-toddlers, and comfort is important–but that doesn’t mean I don’t want to at least look like I have it together, you know?
I run, chase, crawl, squat, bend, scoot, and just about every other movement all day long. My clothes need to move with me. At the same time, I don’t want to flash the world every time I bend over or have a kid on my hip pulling my neckline down (from their weight on my hip…but also because the actual child does go “exploring” sometimes…yikes!). SO–I designed this pattern with a crew neck. I also know that not everyone prefers a crew neck, especially those with more endowment in the bosom area, so I’ll be back with a tutorial on how to alter this neckline!
The pattern includes an optional chest pocket, and it would be really easy to add elbow patches, a contrasting neckband, color block, etc. Or, just sew it up as-is and add some perfect layering pieces to your wardrobe.
For now, just sit back and pin away some inspiration!
