Happy Tuesday, all!
A few months ago, I came home with this sweet little IKEA lamp that fits perfectly into my hallway bookshelf. I’ve planned all along to “hack” the white lampshade. I thought it would be pretty great covered in some map-printed fabric…but I have yet to find any such fabric!
So one night a few weeks ago, I decided to try tea staining it. F-R-E-E, people.
Here’s the after…not so stark, but I’m not 100% sold on it. I can’t decide if I like the color or if it just looks dirty??
What do you think? Dirty-looking or better than white?
I don't think it looks dirty, I think it looks fine. Have you thought about painting the glass part of the lamp a fun color?!

I don't think it looks dirty, but I liked it better white. I'm a new follower and have been highly praised for your sopapilla cheesecake recipe. Got myself and awesome glass bowl from my Grandma this weekend, and after ensuring it wasn't a family heirloom or anything, plan to try your painted milk-glass deal. Pretty intrigued!
