I really love my friends. I also really love Pinterest (as I mentioned Thursday, here are my boards!). So, when I saw a recipe for Apple Pie Caramel Apples, I decided to let my friends be the guinea pigs. Pretty simple–especially following the directions on The Girl Who Ate Everything. But here’s how the steps break down…
Start by laying down some wax paper and spraying it with non-stick spray. The following steps require you to move quickly, so have this ready for the hot caramel!

Scrub and dry your apples. Insert a popsicle stick (um ya…’bout that…all I had on hand was plastic knives. Don’t judge me.) and set aside. (Make sure you scrub all of the wax off of the apple so that the caramel sticks!)

Did you know Kraft sells caramel “bits” now? No more unwrapping individual pieces of caramel to melt!

Melt it on the stove…keep stirring so it won’t burn!

Dip each apple in caramel and leave them in the fridge for at least an hour to cool.

Melt your white chocolate (I ended up using one bag of caramel, but two bags of chocolate).

Let them set up for a bit, then sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.

And enjoy!
Thank you, Pinterest!
