Bowlin’ with the Best of ‘Em

It’s 65 degrees and sunny here in Wichita today–perfect spring break weather! Thanks, God. This past weekend I was able to visit family in Texas with my parents, which was a great time to decompress and relax–also a great way to start a break from school. Last weekend, C312 (church’s college group) went bowling and we had a blast! I was able to capture some great moments on video and I had time this weekend to put them together. See for yourself:

Grateful to have new life in our midst and finishing week 30 of our pregnancy with this precious baby boy (yes, baby #4).
-
I wonder how Mary felt today—to see in complete fruition, in full circle, the unique mission of her motherhood to the Savior completed.
The one she sacrificed so much for then sacrificed everything for her, for all of us, and that is the gift.
He died so we wouldn’t have to.
Today (and every day), we can celebrate because HE IS RISEN.

P.S. I miss interacting with this community as much as I have been able to in the past. I’m on mission right now to my family—finishing up our second year of homeschooling, supporting my husband through residency, and taking my family on lots of California adventures (well, when we’re not steadfastly sheltering in place). I can’t do it all, so, last year, I made the decision to slow down over here and chase the wonder years of having littles. My time of them needing me is so limited; the sewing projects can wait. I think of you all often and hope you all are well and healthy.💛

I’m here! I’m alive! Everything’s good! I’ve spent the last few months restructuring and that meant a step back from social media. But I haven’t stopped working behind the scenes (very slowly—also homeschooling our 4- & 6-year-olds, attending co-op, taking the 2-year-old to speech therapy two mornings a week—it’s crazy busy here).
